MY GOOSEBERRY PIE

SWEET AND TART

SINFUL DELIGHT

YOU FIND THE CAN OF GOOSEBERRY AT YOUR GROCERY STORE
WITH THE DARK BING CHERRIES

THIS IS MY CREAM GOOSEBERRY PIE
1 CAN OF GOOSEBERRIES
POUR CAN OF GOOSEBERRIES IN A BOWL

ADD 1/4 CUP OF CREAM (1/2 AND 1/2)
LET IT SET
IN ANOTHER BOWL MIX 1 1/2 CUPS OF SUGAR
1/4 CUP OF FLOUR
1/8 TEASPOON OF NUTMEG
1/8 TEASPOON OF GINGER

NOW MIX ALL TOGETHER 
AND POUR INTO THE PIE SHELL

THIS MAKES A SMALL 8" PIE

FOR YOUR PIE SHELL USE ONE FROM THE GROCERY STORE
LIKE PILLBURY PIECRUST  NON FROZEN TYPE
ROLL THIN  THEN TAKE PIE PLATE AND TURN OVER ON TO THE
PIE CRUST AND DRAW A CIRCLE 1/2" LARGER THAN THE PIE PLATE
FLIP OVER INTO THE PIE PLATE AND MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO
OPEN SPOTS PRESS WITH FINGER TO CLOSE
PINCH THE EDGES USING TWO FINGERS TO SEAL  

POUR PIE FILLING INTO THE PIE CRUST
  USE THE LEFT OVER PIE CRUST TO COVER
 THE TOP OF THE PIE  SPRINKLE WITH SUGAR
 COVER THE EDGE WITH METEL PIE CRUST COVER
OR USE FOIL CUT TO FIT
BAKE AT 425 DEGREES FOR 15 MINUTES THEN REDUCE HEAT
TO 375 DEGREES FOR 20  MINUTES
IF NOT BROWN ON TOP TURN UP HEAT FOR 3 MINUTES
